Loseley Park Wedding Video
I have just completed editing this Loseley Park Wedding Video and wanted to share it with you. The booking for this wedding came to me through a recommendation and I was originally booked to do the wedding photos only. As the wedding date got closer, the couple asked me to do a wedding highlights video for them, and I was delighted to be asked to do this at the beautiful Loseley Park.
When I spoke to the bride 5 days before the wedding, she was worried about rain on the big day. She needn’t have worried, there wasn’t a cloud in the sky and it was probably the hottest day of the year, it was a real scorcher of a day! The day started well with the bridal preparation taking place about 10 mins down the road in a hotel in Guildford. The mood with the girls was calm and relaxed, as the hair and makeup was going to schedule, or even slightly ahead of time. I managed to film some very natural moments, including some cute shots of the bridesmaids.
After a short car journey, I arrived at the venue and started shooting the exterior shots and the men getting ready for the ceremony. The guests started arriving and everyone was in a fantastic mood. The ceremony took place in one of the most picturesque rooms I have ever been into. The enormous chandelier and the massive portraits on the walls looked really impressive.
After the ceremony I took the bride and groom into the gardens to get some footage. It was so very hot that it was essential to keep the couple in the shade and shoot really quickly to keep them as comfortable and relaxed as possible. The gardens at Loseley Park are truly fantastic to see, and we were lucky enough to see it when all the flowers were blooming. This allowed the Loseley Park Wedding Photographer to get some really fantastic wedding photos of the couple.
At this time all the guests were enjoying drinks under the shade of the gazebo and trying to cool down. It was so hot, even the pond looked cool and inviting for a swim! Fortunately no one did this, and we were all called through to the barn for the wedding reception meal. Everyone enjoyed congratulating the couple in the receiving line, and finally sat down to enjoy some good food and drink.
The evening entertainment included some really well delivered speeches from the father of the bride, the groom and finally the best men. After this we watched the couple cut the cake that had both the American and British flags on it. What a fine symbol of unity! The band was excellent, and they got the guests up onto the dance floor with ease.
Thanks so much guys for letting me film your wedding, I hope you like the video.
